Standing.

Standing is a record of participation, read from on-chain activity over the run. It expires each run.
It is a status and reputation signal, measured from what you do on-chain during the current run.

The run

Time is measured in weekly seasons called the run. The run is the trigger the rest of the system measures against: the live receipt and the counters reset and report against it. Cadence is weekly by default, with operator-set special runs for tentpoles.

ObjectWhat it is
The runThe weekly season. The clock everything measures against.
The standing sheetThe record of participation over the current run.
The split counterA live counter of fees split on-chain over the run. The pool's share stays in the hook.

Why it expires

Standing decays each run by design. A weekly expiry keeps the metric a measure of current participation rather than an accumulating balance. It also caps how much switching cost reputation alone can build.

What standing is A status read from on-chain activity over the current run, that resets when the run ends.
